Unesa.ac.id Surabaya & ndash; Surabaya State University is still a favorite campus for continuing education to college. This is evidenced by the frequent number of senior high schools from outside the city and outside the visiting provinces. Call it SMAN 1 Pace Nganjuk and SMAN 3 Cilegon Banten who took the time to visit looking for information related to study programs and entry points at Unesa (23/4). Located in the 9th floor of the Continuing Program Development Building (CPD) Unesa Lidah Wetan Campus the group consisting of 350 students of class XI and 40 teachers was welcomed by the Academic Section of Unesa BAKPK.
The campus study activities began with remarks from representatives of SMAN 1 Pace. Ririn Dewi Herawati M.Pd. who is also the BK coordinator. Ririn revealed the purpose of the visit was to find out about study programs facilities and scholarships that would be given if the students studied at Unesa. Besides that this 1997 IKIP alumnus also wanted to motivate his students to continue their studies at the campus which was formerly called IKIP Surabaya.
& ldquo; In the digital era it cannot only rely on high school graduates for that students need to know information about the world of lectures. Hopefully Unesa will become an alternative for the aim of students at SMAN 1 Pace & rdquo; he explained.
The speech was continued by Andri Martadinata S.Pd. as the Deputy of Student Affairs at SMAN 3 Cilegon. According to him the purpose of this campus visit is to provide other alternatives for students. Andri said that the average choice of students to continue their studies in the western region such as universities in Jakarta and Bandung.
& ldquo; Due to intense competition in the western region our goal is to move to the eastern region. Therefore it is incomplete if we the school and students do not visit the Unesa campus & rdquo; Andri explained.
The event continued with the delivery of material presented by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at the Faculty of Sport Sciences (FIO) Drs. Gatot Darmawan M.Pd. Head of Academic BAKPK Sugeng Waluyo S.Pd. S.ST. and Vinda Maya Setianingrum S. Sos. M.A. as representatives of Public Relations Unesa. After a brief presentation on Unesa the students present seemed enthusiastic by actively asking questions in the question and answer session.
